Professional engagements will be the subject of signed contracts between the selected artists and

– L’Orchestre Concordances for the Ariodant production
– Clermont Auvergne Opéra and the Volcadiva Festival for the Piano–Voice Duo
Each singer will certify, on their honor, that they are free of any other engagement during the hours of rehearsals and concerts provided by Clermont-Auvergne Opera. Failure to attend rehearsals and concerts, for any reason, will result in the cancellation of the contract.

- Trondheim Festival : hotel accommodation, travel costs covered (round trip from home to Trondheim), and meals
Piano-Voice Duo
For each of the 2 artists selected:

- A 3-day residency at The Château de Parentignat (summer 2027 – date to define) including a showcase at the end of the residency

- One recital in the 2027/2028 season (date to define) of Clermont Auvergne Opera, gross expenses, agent’s commission included, of € 1 500 per artist
Expenses (Clermont Auvergne Opéra) : travel by train on SNCF 2nd class (return trip ticket home/place of residence, tour, rehearsals and recitals), accommodation and meals (CNEAC basis).

- One recital (to be confirmed) as part of the Volcadiva Festival in early July 2028. Each artist will receive a net fee of € 500.
Festival Volcadiva : Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to a maximum of € 300, upon presentation of receipts. The festival also directly covers : 2 hotel nights, 2 breakfasts and 3 meals at the Royal Hôtel Saint-Mart***, located near the Théâtre du Casino de Royat in Chamalières. Arstist required to arrive the day before their recital. This condition is non-negociable. Prelimanary contracts (letters of commitment) must be signed and returned by mail within 48 hours of receipt, the postmark serves as proof of date.
The recital programme for the Volcadiva Festival must be varied, popular, and accessible to a wide audience, either free or built around a theme. It may include arias from opera, operetta, or musical theatre, but must not include more than three mélodies or lieder. Song cycles (mélodie or lied cycles) will not be accepted.

This prize, worth € 1000, will be awarded to a finalist chosen by the vote of a jury of young people participating in the mediation activities of Clermont Auvergne Opéra in 2026/2027, and will be handed by Clermont-Ferrand City Councilor for Cultural Policy.
